Who Are SKYWELL?
Established in 2010 by entrepreneur Stephen Wong, and part of the multi-billion dollar Skyworth Group; Skywell are one of China’s newest automotive brands emerging globally.
Born in Nanjing, (Jiangsu Province), and now with ten global locations across China, Los Angeles, and Mannheim (Germany), they now employ more than 40,000 people covering R&D, design & engineering, manufacturing, production, parts warehousing and distribution.
Whilst new to passenger car production (2020), Skyworth already globally export a broad range of vehicles, from light commercial vehicles, mini-buses, heavy goods vehicles, mining equipment, coaches and buses.
But Skyworth aren’t just about automotive. With a portfolio which expands from solar panels, energy storage and energy distribution solutions, vehicle charging equipment, home electronics and appliances, audio visual equipment, software development and more, Skyworth Group are expanding their portfolio globally.
With an automotive presence already in North Asia, South America, the Middle East and Australasia; Skywell are now embarking on their introduction into Western Europe.
From the release of the all new fully electric BE11 SUV, over the next two years, the UK will see a broadening passenger car range from Skywell, including an all-new hatchback, SUV and saloon (offering both hybrid and full EV powertrains), plus, the introduction of a new range of fully-electric light commercial vehicle.
